Robert Schneider Obituary (1922

Robert George Schneider age 90, formerly of Ft. Calhoun passed away on Wednesday February 20th, 2013 at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday March 2nd at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair, with Rev. Scott Jensen officiating. Visitation will be held Friday at the Funeral home with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the German Cemetery. Robert G. Schneider was born on November 21st, 1922 in Washington County to Peter C and Clara Benck Schneider. He grew up in the Wranch School district and attended school there. He spent many years farming. His last job was at Bellaire Nursery in Bennington from where he retired. He enjoyed polka music and playing cards. He is survived by four sisters, Geraldine Storjohn of Fremont, Clara Ann Meister, of Schuyler, Wilma Jean Geary of Fruita, Colorado and Marilyn Clapper of Ames, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Alvin, Stanley, and Bill.
