Lynn W. Steffen

Funeral Services for Lynn W. Steffen age 55 of Blair will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday March 6th, 2013 at Living Hope Church south of Blair. Visitation will be held be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Allen Cemetery. Lynn passed away on on March 1st at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Lynn W. Steffen was born on August 23rd, 1957 to Emmett and Marie (Betts) Steffen. He grew up in Missouri Valley, Iowa and graduated from Missouri Valley High School. After high school he worked as an electrician for a year and then began working as an industrial painter for Jebco. He worked for Jebco for 36 years. On August 16th, 1986 he was united in marriage to Tory Akes of Blair. After their marriage the couple made their home in Blair.
Lynn’s faith in God was always the largest thing in his life. He most enjoyed spending time with his wife and soul mate Tory, and working on his 1969 Camero.
He is survived by his loving wife Tory of Blair, brother Alan and sister in law Virginia of Bellevue, Nebraska, sister Pat Shelton of Blair, sister in law Tammy and husband Brad Roth of Omaha, mother and father in law Charles and Joyce Akes of Blair.
