Irene Louise Cummings Obituary (1919

Irene L. Cummings, age 101 of Blair, passed away October 15, 2020 at Crowell Memorial Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 21 beginning at 12:00 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home; graveside services will follow at the Blair Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Irene was born on March 30, 1919 in Blair, Nebraska the daughter of Richard and Grace Barron. She grew up on a farm near Herman before moving to Blair. Irene attended and graduated from Blair High School. On September 10, 1941 she was united in marriage to Orland Cummings. The couple owned Cumming's Champlin Service in Blair for many years. She is survived by her children: Cynthia (Robert) Hollingshead and Richard Cummings; grandchildren: Bobbi (Daniel) Anderson, Mike Hollingshead; great grandchildren: David Anderson and Ahnna Anderson; as well as many niece and nephews. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Orland "Wad" Cummings.
