Debra Darlene Hinrichs passed on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Blair Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at County Bible Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday starting at 4 with family receiving friends from 5 to 8 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home. Debra was born April 2, 1956 to Fred and Marilyn (Rix) Dunkle. Debra grew up in Kennard and attended Arlington High School graduating in 1974. She then graduated from Nebraska Methodist Nursing School in 1977. Debra moved to Blair in 1981. She worked at Methodist Hospital in Labor and Delivery for over 20 years where she loved helping women through the delivery process. She was active in the Blair Jaycees in the mid to late 90s where she served as president and led the group to win a diamond chip award. Debra married Mike Hinrichs on November 10, 2001. In 2013 she received recognition from the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA for living with diabetes for over 50 years. Debra loved spending time with her friends and family. Debra is survived by her husband Mike Hinrichs of Blair, daughter Angie and husband Nick Albrecht of Blair; stepsons: Tim Hinrichs of Phoenix, AZ; Nate and Leigh Hinrichs of Tulsa, OK; and Ben Hinrichs of Phoenix, AZ; Grandchildren: Ellora Albrecht, Lily Hinrichs, and Theo Hinrichs; mother Marilyn Dunkle of Kennard; siblings: Patti and Rodney Bailar of Kearney; Lori and Todd Enfield of North Mankato, MN; Bob Dunkle of Kennard; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Fred Dunkle; grandmother Louise Lohr, and aunt Darlene Golter. Memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Services are provided by Campbell Aman Funeral Home.
